The Catacombs, an extensive network of underground tunnels and chambers beneath Paris, are not only a place of historical and cultural significance, but also a popular museum and event venue. They stretch for more than 300 kilometres and offer unique insights into Parisian history. Guided tours, cultural events and educational programmes make them a lively attraction.
